I admit I'm curious to know the fans' response had Elizabeth caught Will sticking his tongue down, say, Tia Dalma's throat. Or Anamaria's, or any other woman she might've come upon. I'm betting it would've involved much "How could he do that?" and "Unappreciative bastard!" I'm not sure what their point is bashing Will for Elizabeth's kiss; is it that he's so Good and Boring and Dependable that he deserves it for being a schmuck? (Maybe he does.) Is it that he doesn't recognize Her Unique Specialness, Her Wild Untamed Spirit That Cannot Be Leashed To Only One Man? *shrug*

You have a point about feminists. It seems both online and in RL, there are so many factions doing so much infighting that it sometimes seems maybe they're not getting much else done for the actual advancement of women in an equal world?
