*sigh*

I need some "V For Vendetta" love. Who on my f-list is all over themselves with this one right now, too?

And, Hugo Weaving. DAMN. (I'd like to know just which scenes had him beneath the mask.)

ME ME ME! I just saw it this afternoon and haven't been as emotionally affected by a movie in years. I thought Syriana had me worked up. Nothing like this. I found the parallels to our current political situation much too close for comfort.

ME!! Me me me me mememememe~!!! Though I tried some fanarting, and have yet to pull off a rendition of V that does not have him coming off as a demonic Michelin Man ...

Still, love! Fencing! Knee-high boots! Verbosity and alliteration! Idealism! Pretty slinky hair! XD

*raises hand*

And most of them did, except for some of the more daring effects I think.

I agree, DAMN!

I've seen that movie three times now, AND have read the graphic novel. All I need to do is read the movie novelization and I'm all set!

Wow! I have been shocked by how many people I know, outside LJ in fact, who LOVED this movie! I figured with all the "talking points" it would be something people would not have patience with, but lo and behold, some people out there can still think for themselves.

Glad to hear that the Wachowskis have redeemed themselves. I was afraid all was lost after Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.
