Wow! I have been shocked by how many people I know, outside LJ in fact, who LOVED this movie! I figured with all the "talking points" it would be something people would not have patience with, but lo and behold, some people out there can still think for themselves.

Glad to hear that the Wachowskis have redeemed themselves. I was afraid all was lost after Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.

Nah ... not unless they try to make sequels to "V"!!!

I'd almost say this movie could be the POTC of 2006 (except I hope the actual POTC sequel is good enough to be the POTC of 2006).
