Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys dead at 47 of cancer

Here's to the other two sticking around a lot longer. Thanks for the tracks, dude; I've been listening on and off for 26 years.

The fact he's only seven years older than me is part of mine. Also, I've been listening to him since he was 21 years old and I was 14. It'd be like if Madonna were to die tomorrow.

You're not kidding. Apparently it was cancer of saliva glands? Which is ironic given his vocation. Poor guy; I feel sorry for his family.
