BRB LOLing forever ....

It looks like Tupac is set to go on tour 15 years after his death - as a hologram.

....................

Well, it ain't three million years, but 15 is a respectable period to wait for a resurrection, I suppose. ;-)

(I swear that Grant Naylor are like Star Trek - the more time passes, the more stuff I see either happening or happening more that they hinted at satirically over 20 years ago, LOL.)

Grant Naylor really were ahead of their time. :)

Which is funny considering they were basically taking the piss out of Star Trek for the most part (though they were still hugely influenced by it enough to sit down and come up with some serious "what if" concepts, I suppose).

You are right. I watched the video and kept wondering where the hell was his "H" was. Grant Naylor were way ahead of their time. There is a video on Rob Grant's website of a touchable hologram from Japan.

If we see functioning semi-independent holograms in our lifetime, I wonder if they'll be thus branded ... not the mark of Cain, the killer, but of Abel, the slain, to borrow from the guys.

They'd have something on them. I'm sure of it.

That was somewhat disturbing, but at the same time cool. A touchable hologram, you say? Wonder if they can make me my own Craig Charles? Or my own Chris Baree? I wonder if they can interact with other holograms? Wonder if they can get naked, like can they take baths, change clothes and stuff? And I agree, too, they were way ahead of thief time.

Don't know - science will have to find out!

(Kanye-voice) Imma let ya finish, Tupac, but first I must say, Arnold Rimmer was the greatest living hologram of all TIME!

Best. Comment. So. Far.

Well, that's kind of neat; her eyes really do follow you around the room, then.

(In other news, it's nice to see that young man Christopher Lloyd was able to find work after "Back to the Future" ... *EG*)

"Surveyor Of The Queen's Pictures" - nice title. ;)
