Just finished watching the Oscars. One of the winners and one of the people who died last year - I INTERVIEWED BOTH A FEW YEARS AGO. (And one of them, I talked to right before the major project for which people mostly remember him came out. Because I liked his previous show. TBH, the only reason he talked with me probably was because he wasn't as well known then.)

....I'm a little too impressed with myself. I'll just be here smiling stupidly (... and being sad about the one who died. I didn't even know it until tonight!).

I talked to Sorkin right before "The West Wing" hit the airwaves (in fact, he had to cut the first talk short but called me a few days later to finish up, and he was on the set of TWW during the taping of one of Martin Sheen's speeches - I could hear in the background. AWESOME). Also, George Hickenlooper, who was a director.

George Hickenlooper. He wasn't a big name, but he directed several movies.
