I write for a living; my sister does not. Yet, we both write fanfic (dahlianna does "Supernatural" fic). Oh, and she makes videos.


Any of you fanficcers have siblings who also write (or whatever) in your fandom or another? Know of any personally? What fandoms?

My sister is working on a creative writing degree, and is planning her masters in the same. She wants to be a journalist.

She used to write fanfiction: Harry Potter and Tamera Pierce, plus some Sailor Moon (I think. It's been taken off the web, if she ever published it.) However, I don't think she's written any fanfic in the last three years or so. I kinda get the impression that she thinks fanfiction is for kids now.

Hell yes. I don't need one more young bright-eyed reporter willing to work for less money to compete with in the marketplace. ;-)

Weeeel, middle brother doesn't write fanfic, but he's writing definitions to go with a Tarot deck he's creating and wants to publish. Does that count?

Well, I suppose it's fanfic of a sort - the Tarot is already established and he's trying to enhance or redefine it.
