I tell you, Joe, if you'd just shut up about warfare more often and stick to things we need to do this way, we could have a coffee. Maybe get along better.

(My political posts will continue throughout the season. They're not designed to change the minds of those who already prefer McCain; I'm not an idealist. Or a glutton for punishment, despite my past record. *G* But maybe I have some undecideds who read; there are supposedly an awful big chunk of them in the American voting public.)

I don't think he should treat her any different than he would have Lieberman, Huckabee, or Romney. But there are those on the Republican side that DO suggest he should. Which is in itself sexist.

Well, as a Christian, I have been rather appalled at people who are calling themselves Christian and putting more value in the dollar and legalism than in loving God and their neighbor as themselves. I don't talk about my faith all that much because I believe in dealing with my own planks before other people's sawdust. But I saw this icon and it made me smile a big happy smile.

I've seen one floating about that somebody made of Harriet Tubman, kind of similar ... then there's a macro somewhere of the Founding Fathers, with "Community Organizers" across the bottom of it. And another of MLK Jr. addressing the March on Washington crowd.

You know what? If I were Joe Biden, I'd step down from the VP nomination and have Obama put Hillary in. If you want to see a real debate, nobody could accuse Hillary of being sexist, and she could be a lot more vicious than Biden could ever dream of being. It would also bring those rogue Hillary voters back to the Dem ticket. Seeing Hillary tear Sarah Barracuda a new one without being personal in any way, shape or form would be awesome.:)
