Heck, I'd like it if we could see more "promo" shots of all of them You know, like how we had/have several dozen different promo shots of the main three from CotBP? I'd like to see more of everyone from DMC and AWE.
There are at least a few dozen ways I can think of that they could have shot this, and had it come out looking sweet and loving and a wee bit adventurous, without veering.. quite so far into the ridiculous. Or Harlequin.
Between having to crank her neck around and the supreme effort to PUSH the sides of their faces together they just.. kind of.. I mean you could see what they were going for, but it came out rather awkward and pastede-on looking. Then there's Keira's strange, out of focus, glassy eyed stare O_O I'd have loved to have seen the (if any) alternate shots though. There weren't nearly enough varied promo images for AWE as I would've liked :(
...GOD I love the way his cuffs fall over the edge of his hand... *flail*
Elizabeth needs to lay off the bronzer, though. This pic of her is kind of weird the way the scene of her in the brig of the FD is weird. It doesn't really look like her.
You know, I didn't mind W/E back in CotBP days (not for reading, but just cuz it was canon n' shit) and this picture sort of made me remember when I liked them as a couple. It's cute. In a romance novel sort of way.
It also made me want to kill the makeup/lighting/photoshop people. D00d, bronzer much?
Also, it does nothing for her as the fierce warrior king whatever that they wanted her to be in the film. It screams Damsel in a dressDistress
In other news, I want to do things to Will/Orlando that involve nakedness and OMG his HANDS...mmmm.
But man, they are not doing Keira any favours by shooting her full of tranquilizers and hosing her down in bronzer, fur realz. And Orlando, may or may not be afraid of catching girl cooties.
Is it terribly wrong that the first thing I thought about after the initial giggling, was, 'Ooh, I so want to do a manip where it's Jack clinging to Will'.
Pshaw. She already did that with the 'OMG! Save us, Captain Heartthrob!' leg-cling. Besides, I think Jack would be an even more distressing damsel than her ;)

I kind of agree, it is kind of bodice ripper-esque. However, given the sheer LACK of anything surrounding the film (promo pics, commentaries) I'll happily save this to my comp for later scrapbooking. What the heck were they thinking with not having all the extra stuff floating around? You'd think they'd have wanted to hype it up more then they did, what with it probably being the end of the series and all.

I'd love to see that, for the sheer comedy as well as the Turrow goodness. :)

Thanks for making my night!

Her overall pose makes me lol. And what are they looking at? Jack? (Well, maybe he's looking at Jack. She's kind of unfocused on the future. :P)
