Looks like Clinton's tossed her hat in, and it would be a strong unifying move, particularly as people have approved of her health care plan where they haven't approved of his. I know that Edwards has flat-out said he will not run for veep - it was a part of his speech wherein he endorsed Obama in the first place. I almost sort of hope Richardson raises his hand. I got to hear him speak while I was vising Iowa in primary season, and he was particularly impressive, not to mention he has the much-vaunted experience that Obama lacks. An Obama-Edwards ticket, even beyond Edwards having denied it, would have the weakness of it being two young charismatic men with not too many years under their belts. Edwards more so than Obama, certainly, and he made a much stronger showing than Kerry in 2004 in my opinion, but they'll be slathered with the amateur label. Obama needs someone who already knows Washington inside and out in order to win against McCain.
