Of interest to character writers ...
Feb. 22nd, 2009 01:34 pmDon't forget - or if you haven't seen it already, be aware - that "Elizabeth Month" at
raise_the_dead is still open for another week! We've already had one cute story posted there, but there seems a dearth, and I know there are ideas people have for stories about the character.
The only rules are these: What a writer can do and what a writer can't do. And the only thing a writer can't do is set their story in the sequels - it's a community dedicated to CotBP. However, you can post pre-movie stories and art, missing scenes, and post-CotBP AU inspirations.
We'll have a "character month" for 24 major and minor CotBP characters over the next two years. While pairings aren't taboo, it's encouraged that a story focus more on the character of the month themselves, instead of as half a couple (or one-third an OT3, for that matter). Also, if your muse isn't cooperating during the month set aside for a character, you can always post it later - say, in May you DO get an idea for an Elizabeth story that would fit at the community, you can still post it; just reference it's for "Elizabeth Month."
