I know Live Journals belong to each individual and as such, each owner has the right to allow comments to be posted or not in their individual journals.

That said ... it amuses me to no end when I post something vaguely anti-Bush in some Bush supporters' journals (this has happened twice just recently) - civilly stated, mind you, with no foul language or name-calling - and the post either never makes it to an actual public viewing in said journals, or is erased due to some made-up reason that it doesn't specifically address the original post.

On the other hand, I know plenty of Kerry supporters and anti-Bush people who have LJs, where there is the occasional pro-Bush troll who posts, and these people actually allow the comments to stay up.

It can only be that the Bush people are weak and shaky and have to knock down anything that even marginally questions their candidate, whereas those who know Bush is bad news are willing to stick by their convictions and let their comments/proof stand on their own against whatever ammunition aimed at their posts.

Big chickens!
