veronica_richIn my ongoing quest to straighten out a morbidly fucked-up body, my doctor and I are experimenting with various things, including some amphetamines he prescribed yesterday to give me energy and suppress appetite (not that eat much, but I guess the idea was that I would learn how to scale down to carrots and celery full-time).

Everything was peachy for about five hours and I was Alerty McWorkistan. Then, the effects wore off and I had a bitch of a headache, horrible stomach gas, wanted to sleep, and ... cold arms!
The hell?
How do people get addicted to this? Or cigarettes? Shit, alcoholism is the only real thing I can get behind. Well, liquor and maybe narcotics.
