Now, I just have to wonder - when some asshat is accusing me of misogyny because I hold men and women to the same standards, are they really thinking of this? (No, not the community - some of the recent posts. So NOT safe for work.)

I get that people like to play sexual games and such. But (a) posting about it in a comm NOT designed for that is not cool, and (b) ... seriously, how dumb a bitch do you have to be to BELIEVE some of this garbage anyway? OY.

(If you've never heard of them... Troll Kingdom is a bunch of apparently women hating - or at least feminist hating - computer geeks who like to steal other people's user names and use them to post porn in unsuspecting threads. It used to happen a lot at trekbbs when I frequented it. With usernames you knew weren't actually behind that kind of behavior. Though here at lj, I suppose they could be just firing up sock puppets.)

Blame me for alerting VR to the trolling of that community. We have reported it to Abuse, but so far no response or correction. Problem is, we can't get a response from the mods either.

The 3rd post yesterday (probably the one you all clicked on) disturbed me more for the violence-against-women pictures than the porn. This is why you never ever post personal details online. What if one of these freaks discovered a member lived near them?

I have dropped the community along with most of the other members because I can see where this is leading (the images have, shall we say, progressed in theme)and frankly, I can handle porn and guns much better than the abuse of animals.
