I really enjoyed that story. I liked you idea of Bill, of Will not being like him, which I fully agree with.
I also thought it right to let Will vent a bit, it's a very hard thing and he has a right to be pissy about it! And also the father son issues that he is left with, with his father and now with his son. That part would hurt a lot I think and that made this therapeutic for me to read.
I'm new to the fandom side of PotC, having loved the movies and characters from the start, so I'm having fun discovering how fandom sees Will, as well as other characters.
As for the curse! Even if we don't get the ten year limit no one will convince me that there's no way to break it and if there is, they will find it because there are just few people who are as determined as those two!
I also agree with being mad at Jack, after all, if the curse is forever then it really can't be seen as an act of altruism on Jack's part. That curse is certainly worse than death.
Okay this is long so I should wax poetic about your imagery and all that. :p
God's Teeth... awesome, I have a hard time coming up with those sayings. Will and his over sized mantle, Jones and his bloody petticoat. Bill and his deadpan humor teasing Will trying to break the ice. Will totally sweet in his inability to really talk about it out loud. :p Sparrowesque so needs to be a word because how the heck else to you explain it LOL
And so many more things, but I feel I've blathered on enough.
