I expect he won't run into Jack for a few years after this, and by then, he'd have adjusted to his new role and mostly forgiven any slights he felt he'd been dealt. But I don't think he's ever going to regard Jack as a benevolent philanthropist - and that's good for Jack. There need to be people to check his inflated opinion of himself, since there are so many Jack runs into who believe every word of his legend. ;-)
