Alas, I haven't seen a favourable review yet. They're all either "WTF!" or "Eeeew!"

Bugger. Now they'll either give up on PotC-III altogether and throw out a complete piece of crap, or they'll pay attention to the criticisms of PotC-II and work much harder to redeem themselves with something brilliant.
