A-Team goodness!
I swear to God, Dwight Schultz IS the original Johnny Depp. His Murdock on "The A-Team" was nothing short of acting *genius,* and I would not be at all shocked to know that he was some inspiration at some level on Johnny. (The fact that Murdock wasn't even written into the first 13 episodes, and Dwight had to create his own character and come up with his own lines, is just fabulous.)

I was always rather fond of Murdock - obviously it was Face that I fancied, but Murdock was so wonderfully nuts. Utterly crazy on the surface, but you just knew that there was a genius hiding under the crazy. And the man could fly anything with wings or a rotor.

Dwight Schultz was such a lovable nut (and a perfect fit for Barclay too). I'm such a slacking fan - I have no idea what he's done lately. *wanders off to imdb*

There is always at least one slashy moment between Face and Murdock in any given episode.
The chopper thing I mentioned above.
In every third episode, B.A. would have to be knocked out to fly.

Did you ever see "Fat Man and Little Boy" with Paul Newman, where Schultz played Robert Oppenheimer? It was fabulous; you should check it out.

Thanks for reading my blatherings! (And, you should totally watch A-Team reruns, seriously ...)
