i think it's hypocritical for anyone to have conflicting opinions on abortion and the death penalty.
if you support abortion & oppose the death penalty, i think it's kind of like saying that we shouldn't kill criminals, we should kill fetuses & hope we weeded all the bad people out before they were born.
however, if you're pro-life & support the death penalty, it kind of goes against the "all life is sacred" type thing they've got going on.
i think abortion is a really selfish act by someone who is unwilling to face the consequences of their actions, but i don't think it should be outlawed. if someone doesn't want a baby, they shouldn't be forced to carry and raise said baby.
the death penalty... i always feel uneasy about but i guess it's the next best alternative to giving the victim's family an hour alone in a room with the criminal.

of course, i'm sure someone will come here and tell me how wrong i am about all this. ;-)
