To be honest, before the whole J/E debacle, I never paid attention to 'ship arguments because none took over the whole fandom and they don't matter to me anyway. I've heard there were bad feelings that developed over the whole J/W vs. J/j thing, but I know nothing of it. (Although I do remember a discussion over the "rooting for you" thing.)
