I liked Sheridan, but maybe that's just because it was Gerard Butler.

That was probably a big reason I liked him as well. It was the first time I heard his real accent. :) But he also seemed to have more chemistry with her then Craig did, more of a connection. And he seemed to be able to keep up with her tricks better. I have a hard time imagining Craig's character doing the same tricks as in the second movie.
