POTC drabble - I don't own any of these characters, obviously enough!

"No, Don't Get Up ... Really ..."
Rating: G for execution, X for your imagination (possibly B for humor)
Char: Gibbs, Jack, and ... well, everybody
Summary: Poor Gibbs has been used by the fandom's writers to interrupt more sex aboard the Black Pearl than a police raid on Heidi Fleiss's bedroom.
A/N: Just some crazy shit I came up with while trying to work.


He raised his hand to knock … hesitating.

Did he want to bother the Captain? Every other time he was forced down here for guidance, he faced some inflagranti delicto – Anamaria, Miss Elizabeth, Turner, the Commodore, Shaftoe, Martingale, Mr. Kate, those two pygmies. Joshamee Gibbs had seen Jack Sparrow’s naked rump more than his mama.

He heard Jack’s voice through the door; ah, just talking to himself. His almost-knock was suspended by a squawk from Myrtle, the ship’s hen … and then cooing.

Followed by bleating.

Gibbs turned away. He didn’t really need Jack’s directions to outrun that naval armada.

Hooray! Nice nod to a convention of this fandom that, I have to say, I hadn't noticed until just now. He and Bootstrap should start a club.

They could even have code names - Delicto Interruptus 1 and Delicto Interruptus 2. (I hadn't noticed it with Bill so much, but I tend to associate his interruptions more with poor Will. Nobody likes Dad hovering like Marley's ghost during Fun Time. *G*)
