theatre, bitches!

You guys remember my post from this weekend about our experience with a couple of overinflated-ego bitches following a production of "Chicago?" Well, my friend W can no longer get a press pass because of someone's trouble-stirring bullshit.

Son of a bitch ...

You know, the performers themselves--from all reports I've ever had--would far prefer that the laughing be loud and enthusiastic than... well, shy or absent.

Goofiness and WTFery abounds.

See, that's what I've run into, as well. I have been to many live productions and "golf clap" was rarely the response.

I've already commented over on Snack's page, but just wanted to add my crogglement here.

I hope you'll share any more details that come up--in chat if you don't think it appropriate to post here.

Silly you's

Don't you know anyone who spells it "theatre" is asking for trouble?

Just poking fun. I spell it that way too.

Many years ago a couple of us went to see Yul Brenner in that play he did... (god I am soooo bad with names!) Anyhow, my friend had never seen the play or movie, and she sat there near the front laughing like a bloody hyena.

Brenner's eyes roved the row to find the hyena and for the rest of the play, he "played" toward that corner where she was sitting. Best seat in the house.

After years of playing that Siam prince, he finally had a new viewer who loudly proclaimed how great it was. LOL

YOU should be allowed back in because banning anyone is asking for pans and disses. :P

imho

Would I be correct in guessing that this was done without benefit of your friend W's side of the story? If so, that's far from professional.
