I'm no sure how I feel about dark!fic. I like Will's moral code. It's just that I can see how it could shift to adjust to his new condition - he's got to change a little, I'd think. Like this - that child is not his, there's no biological imperative to protect him. Elizabeth is not his wife, so there's no obligation to her. But that's taking Will in a place I only like every so often - if that makes sense.
