Crap Day Antidote

OK - so [livejournal.com profile] pir8fancier told - nay, ordered - me to post my Crap Day Antidote stories, those fanfics you read when you're having the shittiest day ever and you NEED to laugh. So I started thinking and it occurred to me that I haven't laughed like that over fanfic in a very long time ... at least not over something that was supposed to be intentionally funny. Maybe that's my problem.

ANYWAY - I managed to track down the stories I was trying to remember, from "The X-Files" (what do you know, the Gossamer Project is still online!). I haven't read these things in probably almost ten years and I still remembered them - that's how fucking hilarious they are. I really wish I knew if any of these writers were in POTC fandom, or had published novels or something, because I would give serious thought to reading/buying if they were anything like these stories. Without further adieu, I give you:

Vegas Strip and its sequel, Bermuda Triangle. I remember reading these late at the office of my first newspaper late one night (I didn't have Internet at home and would stay late to chat online back in the early days of ICQ), and I was barely able to hold my Coke in my nose.

AND

The "Listening In" series, in which Mulder, Scully, and others make the brains of green agents sent to wiretap their residences go 'splodey with tons of suggestiveness. There are five: One; Two; Three; Four; and Five. These are very short, and like the previous two longer stories, even if you're not an X-Phile, if you at least know the main characters' names and what they look like, that's probably enough.

EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! GOOBER! I love it.
