What can I say, except that I love this? I always enjoy reading anything you've written, and this is, as always, masterfully wrought. The interactions between an estranged father and son, and the inevitable awkwardness that follows as they try to reconcile is fascinatingly written, and so very real. It was wonderful how you touched on the little things they had in common, and how they both latched on to them in an attempt to find common ground. Oh, and I like how although Will may have got his good sense from his mother, it looks like he got that wry sense of humour from his pa!
