That was brilliant! I like the way Bootstrap struggled with wanted to help Will, but feeling as though he had no right, and I absolutely adored that you picked up on the fact that Will doesn't love the sea like Jack, and Elizabeth, and Bootstrap do.

For all that the sea has been kind to him (for the amount of shipwrecks he's been in, the poor boy should be drowned by now!) it's not his love and I don't think he would even sigh with regret if he never spent another moment even within hearing of the sea.
