I just got back from my second viewing and I think I can handle it a bit better. I caught in Will's voice a double question when he gave Elizabeth his heart, "Will you keep it safe?"
Not only physically safe, but from breaking.
I'm still very upset about the ten years and have visions of Elizabeth curled up next to the box, listening to it beat while she weeps or tries to sleep.
