I didn't like the movie. It's hard to explain, but I really thought it was too full of random stuff happening.
I thought that Elizabeth was a little bit annoying in the begining, but after that she didn't get under my skin too much (wasn't Sao Fen at the first meeting to trap Calypso? Wouldn't he know what she should look like?) The ending really irked me because I thought that Elizabeth and Will got cheated out of a happily ever after. I agree that Elizabeth isn't just sitting on the island waiting for Will, but there's also the fact that she can only see him once every ten years and since she lives in the 17th Century or whatever that means she'll only get to see him about a few more times before she dies. Couldn't Lizzie just sware an oath to him and join him on the Dutchman?
