Gone for a while

If ever you move to Indiana, contact me first and I will tell you where NOT to live.

The cable Internet in my apartment has now gone completely out, so I have no service at home until the management company for the complex gets off its collective ass and authorizes replacement of lines. There are no DSL providers in town. There is one other phone company (which does not offer Internet). And the DirecTV people can't get a signal from behind my apartment.

So, I have no Internet service at home. artic_fox, if you read this, I will do my best to mod on occasion from work, but frankly, you might need to seek another U.S. mod who can help you out better.

I really want to cry, but I've already done that. I'll just be going home now and donning my poodle skirt and pearls, and make dinner for someone, since I'm apparently stuck in 1952 there.

Oh. Dude. Nooo.

That sucks like a sucking thing that sucks. Seriously. You have been dealing with this for far too long, and to be cut off completely. I would be a quivering pile of goo, weeping and wailing, railing at the fates about this injustice (I can't live without my internet. I refuse to live without my internet).

I'd tell you to keep your chin up, but mine is quivering just imagining it.

And we'll miss you! It's opening week end!. The squee. The wank. The snark. The WTF!, and the Will. Dear God, won't anyone thing of the Will!

And on a somewhat related note. LJ and its weird post/reply eating, changing, screwing-around-with ways the last day or so deserves the Will 'say what'. It should be a WTF, but it seems I don't have one of those.
